Koby Yudkin

Koby grew up and found his love for the outdoors in the vibrant forests of Oregon. He was introduced to climbing, mountaineering, and outdoor leadership as a teenager and quickly realized that getting coated in rime-ice on Mt. Hood and pinching volcanic tuff at Smith Rock was way more fun than math class.

Koby moved to Maine to attend Bates College and in 2017, he graduated with a degree in Environmental Studies. During his time at Bates, he became enthralled by the hard, old-school, climbing ethics of the Northeast. He took every opportunity he could to climb in and around the Mt. Washington Valley, which is where his guiding career began soon after.

Koby is currently based in Oregon, where he guides rock and alpine climbing throughout the Cascades and Alaska.
